New and repaired potable water mains and service lines must be disinfected before they are placed into service. We chlorinate to specification, hold for the required contact time, dechlorinate, flush, and coordinate lab sampling so the line is cleared for purveyor acceptance.

Any new water main, service lateral, or repaired section of existing pipe must be disinfected before it is placed back into service. We isolate the section, introduce chlorine to the concentration specified by AWWA C651, and hold for the required contact time so the entire interior surface is treated.
Once the hold time is met, we dechlorinate to neutralize residual before discharge, flush the line with potable water, and coordinate bacteriological sampling through our state-certified laboratory partner so the purveyor has everything needed to clear the line for service.

Chlorine is introduced at the specified concentration and held for the required contact time across the full length of main or service line.
Residual chlorine is neutralized before discharge so disposal meets local and state discharge requirements.
Lines are flushed with potable water until chlorine residual and turbidity fall within acceptable range before sampling begins.
Coordinated collection and chain of custody through our state-certified lab partner confirms the line is safe before release.
Chlorine residuals, hold times, and lab results are compiled into a report formatted for direct submission to the purveyor.
Covers new construction mains, service lateral extensions, and repaired sections returning to service after a break or tie-in.
Every job is performed under C-36 Contractor License #1117687 and DPR License #140023, backed by the credentials California requires.
Bacteriological and water-quality samples are processed through our state-certified laboratory partner, giving purveyors results they accept without question.
Every report is formatted for direct submission to your water purveyor or inspecting agency, with same-day turnaround whenever lab results allow.
Plumbing, chlorination, and backflow work are handled by the same crew in one visit, so you are not coordinating three separate contractors.
We confirm scope against your purveyor’s requirements and isolate the section of main or service line to be treated.
Chlorine is introduced to AWWA C651 concentration and held for the required contact time throughout the line.
Residual chlorine is neutralized, then the line is flushed with potable water until it tests clean.
Bacteriological samples go to our state-certified lab, and results are compiled into a purveyor-ready report, same day whenever possible.
Most single mains or service lines are chlorinated, held, and flushed within one visit. Contact time is set by AWWA C651 and typically runs several hours to overnight depending on the method used, with lab turnaround added after sampling.

Access to the isolation valves or tie-in points, and any purveyor-specific chlorination or sampling requirements for the project. We can coordinate directly with the purveyor if you provide contact information.
Yes. Sampling is coordinated through our state-certified laboratory partner as part of the same job, so you are not scheduling a separate contractor to clear the line.
